Dry-Mix Mortar & Tile Adhesive
Powder-form PCE for dry-mix production lines. Delivers dispersion without introducing carrier water, improving bond strength and workability in tile adhesive and repair mortar.
In dry-mix production, every liquid ingredient arrives with water attached — and unaccounted water reduces strength, causes bleeding and contributes to shrinkage cracking. Powder PCE sidesteps the problem entirely by delivering the dispersant as a dry solid.
The critical property is redispersibility. A powder that does not fully disperse in the mixing water leaves you with the same performance as a much lower dosage, and with unexplained variation between batches. Our spray-drying process is controlled to preserve the polymer's dispersing behaviour on rehydration.
Grades are available for standard Portland systems, aluminate and sulphoaluminate repair mortars, and self-leveling compounds.
What We Focus On
No carrier water added
Precise formulation control in dry-mix systems where water content must be exact.
Fast, complete redispersibility
Dissolves in the mixing water within seconds, so performance matches the specified dosage.
Improved bond strength
Better dispersion means better contact between binder and substrate.
Grades for CAC and SAC systems
Reliable dispersion in fast-setting repair mortars where conventional PCE loses effectiveness.
Questions From Dry-Mix Mortar & Tile Adhesive Producers
For most tile adhesive and repair mortar formulations, start at 0.15% – 0.35% of binder weight. Send us your formulation and target standard and we will recommend a specific starting point and a sample quantity for your trial.
Yes, under normal agitation in mixing water. In very cold water, dissolution slows; premixing the powder into part of the mixing water before adding the dry blend resolves this.
