PCE Liquid Mother Liquor
High-solid-content polycarboxylate mother liquor for admixture producers who compound and dilute their own finished products. Available at 40%, 50% and 60% solid content, with consistent molecular weight batch after batch.
If you run an admixture blending line, the mother liquor is where your product quality is decided. Dilute a poor batch and no amount of defoamer or retarder will rescue it. That is why we control the polymerization ourselves rather than buying in mother liquor to resell.
Our synthesis runs on automated polymerization reactors with in-process monitoring of temperature and conversion rate. Every batch is tested before it is filled, and a Certificate of Analysis ships with the goods. The result is a mother liquor whose performance you can build a formulation on — not one you have to compensate for.
We offer three solid content levels so you can optimize for freight cost against handling convenience. Higher solid content means less water shipped per tonne of active polymer, which matters on long sea routes.

Available Grades
Each grade is developed around a different balance of water reduction, slump retention and setting behaviour. Tell us your application and we will recommend the right one — or test samples if you are unsure.
Our most widely exported grade. High water reduction combined with good slump retention, suitable for ready-mix concrete across a broad range of cement types. The standard choice for producers building a general-purpose superplasticizer line.
| Water Reduction | 30% – 40% |
|---|---|
| Recommended Dosage | 0.5% – 1.5% of binder weight (as supplied) |
| Best For | Ready-mix concrete, general purpose |
| Slump Retention | 60 – 90 minutes |
Built on an optimized molecular architecture with a longer PEG side chain, giving higher dispersing efficiency at lower dosage. Particularly effective in concrete with high cement content or low water-cement ratio.
| Water Reduction | 35% – 42% |
|---|---|
| Recommended Dosage | 0.4% – 1.2% of binder weight (as supplied) |
| Best For | High-strength concrete, low w/c ratio mixes |
| Key Feature | High efficiency at reduced dosage |
Tuned for grout and mortar systems where flowability and stability matter more than raw water reduction. Low bleeding tendency and good cohesion, so the mix holds together instead of segregating.
| Water Reduction | 25% – 33% |
|---|---|
| Recommended Dosage | 0.6% – 1.8% of binder weight (as supplied) |
| Best For | Grout, non-shrink grout, mortar |
| Key Feature | Low bleeding, good cohesion |

Questions About Liquid Mother Liquor?
Yes — that is exactly what most of our customers do. You can dilute with water to your target solid content and blend in defoamers, retarders or air entrainers as needed. We can advise on a dilution ratio and blending sequence matched to your target specification.
Higher solid content reduces the water you pay to ship, which lowers your landed cost per tonne of active polymer. Choose 40% if your blending tank and pump are designed for lower viscosity, or if you use the liquor with minimal dilution. Choose 60% for the best freight economics on long sea routes.
No. Our formulations are stable at the specified solid content across normal transport temperature ranges. If you are shipping to an exceptionally cold destination, tell us at the quotation stage and we will adjust the formulation for cold-temperature stability.
