Concrete Admixture Additives
Functional additives that solve specific concrete problems — slump loss over distance, water bleeding, segregation and inconsistent setting — used either as standalone products or blended into your own formulation.
Water reduction alone rarely solves a concrete problem. Slump that collapses on a two-hour haul, water that bleeds to the surface of a pumped mix, or a mix that segregates when the aggregate changes — these need targeted additives rather than more superplasticizer.
We supply these as standalone products and as concentrates for blending. If you are building your own admixture range, we can combine them with our mother liquor to create a finished product matched to your local materials and climate.
Every product comes with a recommended dosage range and, where relevant, guidance on blending sequence. For customers taking bulk volumes, our technical team can visit your plant to run trial production.

Available Grades
Each grade is developed around a different balance of water reduction, slump retention and setting behaviour. Tell us your application and we will recommend the right one — or test samples if you are unsure.
Extends workability time without additional water or retempering. Designed for long-haul delivery and hot-climate pours where slump loss between batching plant and site is a chronic problem.
| Recommended Dosage | 0.2% – 0.8% of binder weight |
|---|---|
| Effect | Extends workability by 60 – 180 minutes |
| Best For | Long-haul ready-mix, hot climates, pumping |
Improves cohesion and reduces segregation in mixes with poorly graded aggregate or high water content. Helps maintain uniformity during pumping and placement.
| Recommended Dosage | 0.1% – 0.5% of binder weight |
|---|---|
| Effect | Reduced segregation, improved cohesion |
| Best For | Pumped concrete, poorly graded aggregate |
Controls water bleeding to the surface, reducing plastic shrinkage cracking and improving the surface finish and durability of the hardened concrete.
| Recommended Dosage | 0.1% – 0.6% of binder weight |
|---|---|
| Effect | Reduced bleeding, better surface finish |
| Best For | Slabs, pavements, high-performance facing concrete |

Questions About Concrete Additives?
Yes. They are formulated for compatibility with our mother liquor range. Tell us your target finished-product specification and we will propose a blending ratio and sequence, and can supply a sample blend for your trial.
Slump loss is usually caused by cement reactivity, temperature or the aggregate absorbing water. Send us your mix design, cement type and site temperature, and we will recommend a dosage for WD710 or advise whether a different mother liquor grade would be more appropriate.
Yes. We can supply under your own brand with your labels and packaging, or develop a formulation to your specification. Please tell us your target product name, specification and annual volume.
