Ready-Mix Concrete
Ready-mix concrete has to still be workable when the truck reaches site. We supply PCE grades that hold slump over distance and in high ambient temperatures, matched to the cement you actually buy.
The distance between your batching plant and the pour is the constraint that shapes everything else. A mix that leaves the plant perfectly workable can arrive unplaceable, and the usual response — adding water on site — costs you strength and invites a complaint.
We approach ready-mix as a materials-matching problem rather than a product-specification problem. Cement mineralogy, fly-ash and slag replacement levels, aggregate absorption and site temperature all shift the optimum grade and dosage. That is why we ask for your mix design and a cement sample rather than quoting a single grade on price alone.
For producers taking regular volumes, we can run a trial in your plant and confirm the dosage that holds slump for your actual haul time.
What We Focus On
Slump retention matched to haul time
Graded from 60 minutes up to 4 hours of workability, so you specify retention rather than accept whatever arrives.
Tolerance for local raw materials
Formulations tuned for high fly-ash or slag replacement, and for cements with elevated alkali or C3A content.
Performance in high ambient temperature
Stabilised behaviour in hot climates where conventional PCE loses slump faster than planned.
Consistent batch-to-batch performance
You qualify one grade, and the same grade keeps arriving — no re-chasing the dosage with each shipment.
Questions From Ready-Mix Concrete Producers
Send us your mix design, cement type and site temperature. In most cases we recommend either a slump-retaining mother liquor grade or an additive combination using WD710. We will quote a dosage to test rather than asking you to change your whole formulation.
Yes. If you already blend your own admixture, we can supply mother liquor and additives matched to your current specification, or improve the formulation if you tell us where it underperforms.
